So my friend told me the other day that he was going to die in a month of heart disease and I didnt believe him. He is very active and has no problems with anything as far as I am concerned. He is also only in his teens still and therefore I am led to believe that he is lying, but I would like to know how long it takes for heart disease to kill someone after they get the pain in their chest.

I’m not sure if this is medically proven or correct coz i just invented this. For example, a person is born with congenital heart disease, and his heart is weak ever since. But he is an athlete. He plays basketball since he was a child. And being an athlete helps him survive, because basketball is a sport and sport is a form of exercise, right? And exercise is good for the heart. So he survived BECAUSE of playing basketball? Can that possibly happen?

If I run an average of two marathons a year, will that decrease my chance of getting a heart attack or stroke. I eat relatively healthy and do not smoke or drink. My genetics are bad, though, because both my parents have heart disease and my dad has had three strokes already.

Or can you just get one anyways, or do you necessarily have to have something wrong with your heart, like heart disease?
Okay, then how do you get a blood clot? If you can get a heart attack from stress, I’m surprised I haven’t had one yet.
