Or eat 3-4 bananas or 3-4 glasses of orange juice per day. I take a similar amount of potassium as potassium bicarbonate, and my blood pressure dropped by about 20 points, from about 140 to 121. If your blood pressure is high, my guess is that blood pressure will absolutely fall. Don’t assume it’s hereditary.
@sassynjazzy2 It’s not just about lowering sodium. It’s about increasing potassium relative to sodium. We used to consume a lot more potassium and a lot less sodium. Prof Moore has talked a lot about this. I would not assume its hereditary. My father has taken blood pressure medicine for 40 years, so they might assume it’s hereditary with me. However, I’ve taken potassium bicarbonate for 10 years and my blood pressure is perfect — 121/72. It’s a simple to try this for yourself… (continued)

so low sodium equals no hypertension ? well my hypertension from what I’m told is hereditary… dont think eliminating sodium is a solution for me
